Dr. Eddie Wifa

Eddy is an Energy and Natural Resource Law Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen and the Co-founder/Director of the African and Natural Resources and Energy Law Network. With a Law degree and an Oil and Gas LLM (Distinction) from the University of Aberdeen, in 2018, he completed his PhD in Developing a Robust Risk Governance Regime for the UK Offshore Wind Energy while drawing lessons from its Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. He was also a Senior Partner at AccendoJuris, a Nigerian based law firm.

His publication on the judicial interpretation of consequential loss and its application to the oil and gas industry has been widely referenced. He is currently the Director of the African Natural Resources and Energy Law Forum.
