Dr Slawomir (Sam) Raszewski is a Research Associate in the Centre for International Minerals and Energy Law.

 

His research at CIMEL focuses on the impact of new petroleum technology on energy security and society. With a background in European energy affairs, the research centres on shale gas exploration and policy developments in the European Union (EU).

 

His research interests lie in the fields of risk and security, and include international political economy of energy.

Dr Slawomir holds a Ph.D from University of Leeds (UK) where he researched into the role of energy transit in external energy security policy of the EU.
