Noel Shiyo is the Local Content Coordinator at Total Midstream BV, a company managing the engineering, construction and operation of the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP)

 

Before his position with Total Midstream BV, Noel was the head of the Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure department at CBS Law Offices, a commercial law firm based in Dar es Salaam. Noel has experience in financial and engineering/construction sectors in Tanzania having previously worked for a subsidiary of an international commercial bank and a top tier engineering consultancy firm in the country

 

Noel’s interest in the extractive sector has driven him to extensive research on the sector which has come to include work with various Higher Education Institutions and advisory firms organizing seminars, workshops, training and capacity building initiatives in partnership with regional and international actors.
