Mr Gossai, Jr. is currently pursuing the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics at the University of Aberdeen with a research focus on Designing Efficient Fiscal Policies and Regulations for an Emerging Petroleum Producing Country in a Volatile Price Environment. He also completed his MSc (Econ) in Petroleum, Energy Economics and Finance from the same institution in 2018.

 

Mr Gossai, Jr.’s professional experiences included being the head of the Guyana Oil and Gas Association and the senior policy analyst and advisor at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, amongst other senior-technical public sector jobs which afforded him the opportunity to contribute to the national development of the Guyanese economy.

 

Further, Mr Gossai, Jr. is a graduate of the University of Guyana with a BSc in Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Studies. He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago.
